On Monday, Andhra Pradesh government asked the Centre to immediately release funds to take up relief and restoration works in the districts which have been affected by floods based on the estimates given by the state. Actors and celebrities have always come to help whenever it was the case of a natural calamity. The coastal region of Andhra Pradesh has been it by the heavy rain.
And it has left few towns devastated. And as always, Tollywood has risen to the occasion and has contributed to the resurrection of these towns. Actors like Jr NTR and Mahesh Babu have contributed to the relief fund of the AP CM. Jr NTR donated Rs 25 lakh and Mahesh Babu also donated Rs 25 lakhs to it. Now according to the latest report, megastar Chiranjeevi also announced the donation of Rs 25 Lakhs Rs 25 lakhs towards AP flood victims.

On the work front, Chiranjeevi is waiting for the release of his movie Acharya which also has Ram Charan, Kajal Aggarwal and Pooja Hegde.
