It is known that Mega Star Chiranjeevi is playing lead role in the movie Acharya. Off late there has been many speculations about the film. It is known that Trisha has been first selected as the heroine and however she walked out of the film citing creative differences. Chiranjeevi corrected that by saying that she hasn’t had any creative differences, only thing is that she has to allocate bulk of dates of Mani Ratnam’s film. So she left out our movie.

The most speculated rumor about Acharya is the extended cameo role which was supposed to be played by Ram Charan. Chiranjeevi has made it clear that Mahesh Babu was never their option for this role and it was Koratala Shiva who insisted that Charan should play that character.

Chiranjeevi said that they even requested Rajamouli to set free Ram Charan for a month to which the number 1 director readily agreed. Chiranjeevi further revealed that the movie is about an ex naxallite and what good can he do to the society. Chiru and Ram Charan will be seen as guru and sishya in the movie.
