Megastar Chiranjeevi decided to test his luck in the film industry in late 70’s. He was inspired by the stardom and journey of ANR, NTR and Krishna kind of star heroes. His father worked as a constable and was transferred on a regular basis. Chiranjeevi spent his childhood in his native village with his grandparents. After graduating with degree in commerce from Sri Y N College at Narsapur, Chiranjeevi moved to Chennai and joined t Madras Film Institute in 1976 to pursue a career in the acting field. On 20th February 1980, megastar Chiranjeevi married Surekha, the daughter of Telugu comedy actor Allu Ramalingaia. Chiranjeevi has spent most of his life, working non-stop to keep his fans, family happy. Now a rare and old pic of Chiranjeevi with his family members during 80’s is going viral on the social media.
Coming on this rare pic, Chiranjeevi is seen handling camera while his wife Surekha is holding Ram Charan and guiding her elder daughter, Sushmitha. It seems, this old pic of Chiranjeevi with Surekha, Ram Charan and Sushmitha, was clicked either on any family event or pooja ceremony which Chiranjeevi was eager to capture on film as a memory.
Chiranjeevi started his film career with Punadhirallu. However, Chiru’ first released film was Pranam Khareedu. Chiranjeevi came in limelight after delivering Mana Voori Pandavulu, directed by Bapu. He has also played the anti-hero in films I Love You and K Balachander’s Idi Katha Kaadu starring versatile actor Kamal Haasan.
Chiranjeevi was last seen in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Ram Charan under the banner of Konidela productions. Apart from Chiranjeevi, the film also has, Nayantara, Tamannah Bhatia, Jagapathi Babu, Sudeep, Niharika Konidela, Amitabh Bachchan and others in the supporting roles. Now Chiranjeevi is getting ready to start the shoot of his next upcoming film which will be directed by Koratala Siva.
