It is known that Megastar Chiranjeevi will be seen playing the lead role in an upcoming Telugu action drama Godfather, which is a remake of the 2019 Malayalam action film ‘Lucifer’. It is also being heard that former Bigg Boss 4 Telugu contestant Gangavva is going to play the role of Chiranjeevi’s mother in the film. The reports are coming that Chiranjeevi will be seen rooting for Jana Jagriti Party in Godfather. This is making fans excited as it reminds them of Chiranjeevi’s brother and actor Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s current political party – Jana Sena party.
Chiranjeevi is essaying a political role in the political and action drama Godfather, which is being healed by Mohan Raja, and produced by Konidela Production Company and Super Good Films. The film also has lady superstar Nayanthara, and Satyadev Kancharana in the lead roles.
SS Thaman is the music director for Godfather. This is the second time a movie with the title ‘Godfather’ is being made in Tollywood. In the past, another ‘Godfather’, starring Vinod Kumar and Akkineni Nageshwara Rao- ANR, was directed by Kodi Ramakrishna.
On the otherside, Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan are coming together with Koratala Siva’ magnum opus Acharya which has Kajal Aggarwal and Pooja Hegde as the leading ladies.
