Megastar Chiranjeevi is planning to start the shoot of his upcoming Telugu film, which is remake of thriller drama Vedalam as soon as possible. The remake will be helmed by Meher Ramesh and bankrolled by Anil Sunkara under the banner of AK entertainments.
Now according to the latest update, Chiranjeevi starrer Vedalam remake will be launched on 20th October with a formal pooja ceremony. A simple pooja ceremony is being planned by the makers at their office in Hyderabad.
The reports are also coming that Fidaa girl Sai Pallavi is all set to essay the role of Chiranjeevi’ sister in the Telugu remake of Tamil movie Vedalam. Christopher Kanagaraj, a prominent name of the South Indian film industry, revealed that Love Story actress Sai Pallavi would play the role originally played by Lakshmi Menon in Vedalam.
Sai Pallavi is in talks to play Chiranjeevi’ sister in this remake, which is a family drama with mass elements. The Tamil action and thriller drama Vedalam, starring Thala Ajith, Shruti Haasan, and Lakshmi Menon in the lead, and it narrates the heartwarming tale of a brother and sister. The movie also featured the actors like Soori, Ashwin Kakumanu, Rahul Dev, Thambi Ramaiah, among others in prominent roles.
