Tamil star actor Chiyaan Vikram has joined hands with the director Pa Ranjith for his upcoming movie which is tentatively titled Chiyaan 61. The film was already launched with an official pooja formalities.
At present, the makers are in a hunt for a perfect cast. As part of it, they approached the national crush Rashmika Mandanna to play the female lead alongside Chiyaan Vikram, according to reports.
But yet, there is no official confirmation from the makers and it is eagerly awaited. The film will be made with a herculean budget. The story is set in Kolar Gold Fields during British rule in the 19th century and showcases the contributions of Tamils in erecting the monumental town.
It is produced by KE Gnanavelraja’s Studio Green along with Pa Ranjith’s Neelam Productions. This periodic action drama will have its shooting in real locations of KGF and the makers are planning to shot the movie in 3D as well. It is expected to be released in Summer next year.
