It has been more than 40 days that all the shootings of films have been halted with corona virus digging its roots in India. Since then every movie and serial shooting was stalled mid way. With the lock down already extended three days, developed a lot of tension and fear among the film producers, distributors. They have already lost  a lot. Even with no shootings, daily wage workers are suffering a lot. Currently third phase of lock down got extended upto May 17th and at that time according to the situation government will decide about further restrictions or relaxations.

Telangana Cinematography Minister in a latest press meet has hinted that from June shootings might start. However he is cautious to mention that it is subjected to the situations prevail in Telangana post May 17th. He said that they will put a meeting with Andhra Pradesh officers as well and decide on a date to allow shootings.

Serials union have requested minister allow them for shooting with atleast limited cast and crew as they are suffering huge financial crisis. Even entertainment channels have nothing to air from past month or so. They are re telecasting all the movies they have in library.
