The peppy number Coco Cola Pepsi of Venky Mama that features Venkatesh Daggubati, Naga Chaitanya, Payal Rajput and Raashi Khanna, is crooned by Aditi Bhavaraju & Ramya Behara, Simha & Hanuman whereas the lyrics are penned by Kasarla Shyam. The song is composed by Thaman.
The romantic and comedy entertainer Venky Mama is produced by D Suresh Babu under Suresh Productions banner and directed by KS Ravindra alias Bobby, who previously helmed films like Jai Lava Kusa and Balupu. After Premam, this is the first time, the real life uncle-nephew Venkatesh Daggubati and Naga Chaitanya Akkineni are sharing the screen space , along with Payal Rajput and Raashi Khanna. Few days ago, the makers of Venky Mama released the first glimpse of the film where Venkatesh Daggubati was seen playing a farmer and Naga Chaitanya as a soldier. While Venky mama was initially expected to release during Sankranthi with Allu Arjun & Pooja Hegde starrer Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and Mahesh Babu & Rashmika Mandanna starrer Sarileru Neekevvaru, but recently Suresh Babu announced that it will hit the theaters on 13th December.
The sources say that Venkatesh is playing a villager while Naga Chaitanya is an army man who arrives in the village and makes tremendous social reforms. However, there is no clarity on the storyline of Venky Mama yet.
Venkatesh was last seen in F2: Fun and Frustration , which was directed by Anil Ravipudi, and bankrolled by ace producer Dil Raju under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations whereas Naga Chaitanya was seen in Majili where he shared the screen space with Samantha. Now Venkatesh is getting ready to act in Asuran remake.
