Recently Jana Sena chief Power Star Pawan Kalyan tried to show Pulivendula in a bad light. Campaigning for Bharitya Janatha Party candidate Ratna Prabha for the Tirupati by election, Pawan Kalyan talked about the Pulivendula area which has hurt the people of the region. The actor turned politician Pawan Kalyan said, “Pulivendula has turned out as a hub for factionism.” His derogatory remarks on Pulivendula town in Andhra Pradesh’s Kadapa district landed him in trouble after a case was filed against Pawan Kalyan. The local residents have filed a complaint against the actor and politician Pawan Kalyan with the police.
Pulivendula Municipal Chairman Vara Prasad, Councilors, and a few YSRCP leaders filed a case against Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan over his disrespectful comments. Later they interacted to the media. YSRCP leaders found fault with Pawan Kalyan’ comments and questioned how come a person who is in a respectable position can make such types of the derogatory comments against a region.
A Police officer revealed that they received a complaint from Vara Prasad. And they would take legal opinion on this complaint. Vara Prasad recently got elected as the municipal chairman.
On the otherside, N Lakshmi Parvathi criticized Jana Sena President Pawan Kalyan saying that he is not a matured leader. He may be a hero in the movies but not in real life. Though he is with BJP physically, he works for TDP – Telugu Desam Party internally.
