National award winning actress Keerthy Suresh who was last seen playing the lead role in woman centric movie Penguin, is all set to essay the role of Megastar Chiranjeevi’ sister in an upcoming Telugu film, which is a remake of Tamil film Vedhalam in which Thala Ajith played the lead role.
Keerthy Suresh will be seen in the role originally played by Lakshmi Menon in the original film. The role of sister is crucial to this story, and the makers have finally brought Mahanati fame Keerthy Suresh on the board to play the role of sister. The sources say that it was megastar Chiranjeevi who suggested her name. Very soon she will signed the project and the makers will make official announcement regarding her inclusion in Chiranjeevi starrer.
Meanwhile Keerthy Suresh is also playing the lead role in Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu starrer upcoming action and romantic movie ‘Sarkaru Vaara Paata’, which is helmed by Parasurma of Geetha Govindam fame.
Anil Sunkara will bankroll the remake of ‘Vedhalam’ starring Chiranjeevi and Keerthy Suresh under the banner of AK Entertainments. Currently Chiranjeevi is working with Koratala Siva for the social message oriented movie Acharya which has Kajal Aggarwal as a leading lady.
