It’s known the fact that entire Jammu and Kashmir are under lockdown and nothing comes in and nothing goes out because of the curfew imposed due to revoking of Article 370 and 35 (A). From the fresh update, we hear that Congress MP Ghulam Nabi Azad was halted by the military personnel at the Srinagar airport today as soon as he landed in the city. Later on, the Congress MP was sent back by 3:30 Pm flight immediately.
The reason behind his visit to Srinagar was to visit his home and to meet few Congress leaders there but he had a tough time there. Here is what Ghulam said to the reporters, “He is being sent back by 3:30 pm flight. He was to attend a meeting and visit his home”
He further added, “The people of Jammu and Kashmir are sad. I am going there to be a part of their sadness, to be with them, Probably for the first time, all 22 districts have seen a curfew. Have you heard of this before?”
It was known that around 400 people were detained across the J & K, In which former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Ministers Mehbooba Mufti and Omar Abdullah are still in custody in safe houses.
