On Saturday, Akkineni Naga Chaitanya announced on Twitter that he would like to donate Rs 25 lakh to support daily wage workers in the South Indian film industry. Nagarjuna’ elder son Naga Chaitanya is the latest addition to the list of celebrities who have come forward to help the fight Coronavirus spread.

Jana Sena Chief and actor Pawan Kalyan, Stylish Star Allu Arjun, Superstar Rajinikanth, mega Power Star Ram Charan, Mahesh Babu, Prabhas among others have come forward to extend their help in this tough time amid Coronavirus spread and now the name of Naga Chaitanya has also been added in  this list.

 Naga Chaitanya said on Twitter, “The film fraternity are coming forward and supporting the film daily wage workers who support us every day. I would like to donate Rs 25 lakhs to support them at this time.”

Yesterday King Nagarjuna also announced a donation of  Rs 1 crore to the Prime Minister relief fund for the well being of daily wages Film workers during this Corona Crisis.

 On the work front, Naga Chaitanya who was last seen playing the lead role in multistarrer Venky Mama, is currently romancing with Sai Pallavi of Fidaa fame. Both Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi are working together for upcoming romantic film Lover in the direction of Sekhar Kammula.
