7 European countries and 1 Asian country are among the 10 most affected list of countries with coronavirus, while more European countries are witnessing a surge in the covid-19 cases. United States replaced China as the country with the highest coronavirus +ive cases on 26th March, while more than 92% of the global covid-19 cases are currently outside China. Coronavirus has reached more than 170 countries and here is the top ten countries affected by COVID-19, by the number of Coronavirus +ive cases.

The 1st coronavirus case in the United States was confirmed on 21st January, but the cases surged from the 2nd half of February month and further in March as the nation-wide testing was increased significantly. The country Germany too banned public events involving huge crowds in order to prevent spread of Coronavirus.
China, including Hong Kong and Macau, is currently the seventh worst affected country by the novel covid-19 outbreak.
France, the 4th most affected European nation by the covid-19, has overtaken South Korea in the number of Coronavirus cases.
