The number of covid-19 cases in Telangana crossed the 1,000 mark after 11 more people tested +ive for the virus on Sunday, taking the state’ tally to 1,001. All the latest patients were from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation area, as no fresh cases were detected from the remaining 33 districts. With this, the total number of covid-19 cases from Hyderabad stand at 540 of which 151 +ive persons have been discharged after recovery and 18 persons have died
There are 660 active +ive Coronavirus cases admitted to Gandhi Hospital while the total number of covid-19 cases, since the 1st +ive case was reported on 2nd March in the State, is 1001.
Presently there are 371 active Covid-19 cases from Hyderabad who are admitted to Gandhi Hospital. With 83 positive cases, Suryapet has become the second district in the State with most number of covid-19 cases while Nizamabad with 61 +ive cases, Gadwal with 45 +ive cases and Vikarabad with 37 cases formed the top 5 districts with coronavirus +ive cases in Telangana. In Telangana, 25 people have also died after suffering from Covid-19. A day earlier on Saturday, only 7 new cases were reported from the Telangana state, while 13 new cases had been reported a day before that.
