In Google search for India 2022, Indian Premier League (IPL) emerged as the most searched topic. Six out of 10 top trends in the year were sports related.
IPL took the 1st place, FIFA World Cup was the 3rd most searched topic, followed by Asia Cup at 4th, ICC T20 World Cup at 5th, Commonwealth Games at 8th and Indian Super League at the 10th position.
