Featuring the versatile actor Kamal Hasan in the lead role, Indian 2 is a Tamil-language vigilante action drama that is being run under the direction of the legendary filmmaker S Shankar. It is a sequel to the 1996 film Bharatiyudu. In this film, Kamal Hasan reprising his role of Senapathy from the predecessor.
Currently, the film unit is setting perfect cast and crew and apart from that, the makers have unveiled latest news regarding it. It is known that Yograj Singh, who is the father of the famous Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh, has come on board for the film to act along with Kamal Hasan.
Yograj Singh has also shared an image from the sets of the film where he was being readied by the make up men for the film’s shoot. He captioned the image saying, “Big Respect to all heroes behind the camera. Thanks Makeup men for making me more smart. The Lion of Punjab is ready for Indian 2 movie with Kamal Hasan ji (legend).”
There are speculations that Yograj Singh might be playing the role of Nedumudi Venu in Indian 2. But there is no official news regarding it. Kamal Hasan is seen as a 90-year-old Indian grandfather, while Kajal Agarwal , Bobby Simha, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Rakul Preet Singh and Siddharth are the significant characters. Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies are jointly bankrolling the prestigious project.
