Darbar Collections:   Kollywood Superstar Rajinikanth’ latest film Darbar, directed by AR Murugadoss, which was released on 9th January, is running successfully at the theatres across the world. Lyca Productions, who has bankrolled the film, revealed that it has crossed Rs 150 crore worldwide at the end of three days of its theatrical run. According to trade reports, the film Darbar in which Rajinikanth played the role of Cop, has earned a whopping Rs 102.5 crore in Tamil Nadu in just six days. With Darbar, Rajinikanth has once again proved why he is the superstar of Kollywood. The film was released in three languages namely, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Now according to the traders report, Darbar earned Rs 8.95 Cr Shares from both Telugu States after the successful run of 7 days.

Ceded : Rs 1.01 Cr

Guntur : Rs 0.65 Cr

Vizag : Rs 0.96 Cr

East Godavari : Rs 0.59 Cr

West Godavari: Rs  0.40  Cr

Nellore: Rs 0.35 Cr

Krishna: Rs 0.48 Cr

Total 7 Days Darbar AP/TS Box office Collections : Rs 8.95 Cr Shares

Darbar was released in over 7,000 screens worldwide, including 4,000 plus screen in India. The film Darbar also features Nayantara, Suneil Shetty, Prateik Babbar, Nivetha Thomas and Yogi Babu in the supporting roles.  Darbar is all about the story of Commissioner Aaditya Arunasalam.  The action drama Darbar has joined  gross Rs 10 cr club in its first week in Chennai. Also, the film is set to breach Rs 15 crore gorss mark in Karnataka. Darbar has also registered fantastic earnings at the international market. However, Rajinikanth starrer Darbar has witnessed a small decline in its earnings on Wednesday due to the release of Dhanush starrer Pattas.

Darbar is also facing a huge competition from Mahesh Babu’ ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ and Allu Arjun’ ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’.
