Darbar starring Rajinikanth and Nayantara, is one of the most awaited movies of South Indian film Industry, which is gearing up for grand release on the occasion of Pongal. According to the latest update, Darbar business fetched to 14.2cr in Telugu states- AP/TS. Here is overall details of pre release business of  Darbar:
Nizam: Rs 5.2 Cr
Ceeded: Rs 3 Cr
AP: Rs 6 Cr
Total AP/TS Pre release business of Darbar : Rs 14.2 Cr

Rajinikanth starrer Darbar needs to collect around Rs 15 Cr share for clean hit in both Telugu states- Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

 The expectations are very high on Rajinikanth starrer Darbar but the movie is carrying very low buzz in  Tollywood. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the action-packed trailer of  Rajinikanth starrer has managed to connect with the masses big-time. After a long gap of 25 years, once again Rajinikanth will be seen in cop avatar in Darbar. He is essaying the role of a Aaditya Arunasalam, a tough and badass cop.

Darbar is being bankrolled by Lyca Productions. The movie also features Suneil Shetty, Prateik Babbar, Yogi Babu and Nivetha Thomas in pivotal roles. The action drama has music by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Santosh Sivan and editing by Sreekar Prasad.

 Darbar has already completed the censor formalities  and received U/A certificate from the censor board.  The run time of Darbar is 160 minutes. The pre-release event of Darbar took place yesterday at the Shilpa Kala Vedika in Hyderabad. Along with Rajinikanth, AR Murugadoss, Nivetha Thomas, Sunil Shetty and music composer Anirudh Ravichander, a slew of Tollywood celebrities attended the event. Darbar will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi release simultaneously on 9th January 2020. It is said  Rajinikath starrer film Darbar is set in the backdrop of Mumbai. It is bankrolled by Subaskaran Allirajah of Lyca Productions.

Very Soon, Rajinikanth will also be starring in Siruthai Siva’ Thalaivar 168, which will be bankrolled by Sun Pictures.
