Director Srikanth Odela, who achieved super success with his first film Dasara in which natural star Nani and national award winning actress Keerthy Suresh played the lead role , has become a married man. Srikanth Odela got married on Wednesday (May 31). On this occasion, natural star Nani posted a photo of the newly married couple on Twitter. Nani shared this photo with the caption, “Mana Srikanth got married.. Sending you all love and blessings”.
Srikanth Odela’s wedding took place in his native Godavarikhani. Actually, it is a marriage arranged by elders. There is an interesting story behind it. The girl that Srikanth marriedis the sister of one of his friends named Shiva. Srikanth used to deposit his remuneration in his friends’ accounts when he was an assistant director.
One day one of his friends asked him to marry his friend Shiva’s sister. Srikanth responded to that saying that if Shiva has no objection then he also has no objection. In fact, even though the two castes are different, their friends talked to their parents and convinced them for this marriage. Finally Srikanth got married in Godavarikhani in the midst of family members and friends.
Srikanth Odela’ first directorial venture was Dasara. This movie went on to collect more than Rs100 crores and it became one of the super duper hit movies in Tollywood in 2023. This is the highest grossing film in Nani’s career.
