A Telugu NRI living in America died recently. Jonnalagadda Srinivasamurthy lost his life while trying to save his 12-year-old son who was drowning. The incident took place at Panther State Beach in California along with his family. The family went to Panther Beach in Santa Cruz. The fun trip turned tragic with the waves at beach getting bigger and bigger. Last Monday evening, Srinivasamurthy’s son went into the sea and could not come out.
Noticing this, Srinivasamurthy went into the water and saved his son even though he could not swim. Meanwhile, a huge wave dragged him into the sea and the family members watched helplessly.
The rescue teams were informed and the personnel reached the spot. Their efforts paid off and he was found at least. After he was found, CPR was performed on him, and was rushed to the nearby hospital for treatment. Srinivasamurthy died while undergoing treatment there. Though CPR was performed Srinivasamurthy could not be saved.
