Opening ceremony of 75th edition of the Cannes Film Festival commenced on 17th May. Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival is wowing all with her glamorous outfits. Padmaavat fame actress Deepika Padukone walked the red carpet in a glamorous sequin saree by Sabyasachi last evening. The actress was looking uber glam in the retro-style saree.
Deepika Padukone completed her look with danglers, rings and a headband while going for the ultra bold eye makeup. She also wore head-to-toe Sabyasachi for her first press conference. Since 2017, she has attended the Cannes Film Festival. She will be attending the film festival as a jury member for the first time.
Not only Deepika Padukone, other celebrities like R Madhavan, Vani Tripathi, Ricky Kej, Prasoon Joshi, Anurag Thakur (Union Minister for I&B, Youth Affairs & Sports), Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Shekhar Kapur posed for photographs on the red carpet.
Madhavan and Nawazuddin were spotted in black tuxedos, Ricky, Prasoon Joshi and Anurag Thakur were seen dressed in bandh gala suits of blue, black and cream colours respectively. Vani Tripathi in beautiful blue saree and Shekhar Kapur donned a white kurta with a Nehru jacket.
On the work front, Deepika Padukone will be seen sharing the screen space with Prabhas in Nag Ashwin’ Project K.
