Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is set to return to Hollywood. She has signed a cross-cultural romantic comedy for STXfilms and Temple Hill which she will act in and co-produce. She is making her comeback to Hollywood after a long gap of four-and-a-half years after she starred in Vin Diesel’ xXx: Return of Xander Cage. According to the latest report, she has signed a cross-cultural romantic comedy, which is developed by Eros STX Global Corporations’ division STXfilms.
Deepika Padukone is going to act in a romantic comedy for STXfilms and Temple Hill and the best part is that she will be producing it through her Ka productions banner. Temple Hill Production’s Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen will develop the project who are known for his works for the movies- The Fault in Our Stars, Twilight series, Love, Simon. Isaac Klausner is overseeing this upcoming project for Temple Hill.
The upcoming drama is a cross-cultural story, centered around the actress Deepika Padukone and it will be shot in New York and India.
It is known that Deepika Padukone turned producer with her film Chhapaak in 2012. On the otherside, she will be seen sharing the screen space with Young Rebel star Prabhas in an upcoming drama Project K under the direction of Nag Ashwin. Besides this, Deepika also has Shakun Batra’s upcoming domestic noir film, Fighter with Greek God of Bollywood Hrithik Roshan.
