Defence Minister Rajnath Singh flew to Hyderabad to pay his respects to the late Tollywood actor Krishnam Raju and console his family members. This news is confirmed by Rajnath Singh himself as he shared few pics of this meeting on his titter and wrote: Met with Prabhas and all the family members of Late Krishnam Raju Garu in Hyderabad today. I extended my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. May the Almighty gives them strength to bear this monumental loss.
Defence Minister met Krishnam Raju’s wife Shyamala Devi, his daughters and actor Prabhas to express his condolences, and photographs and videos from the meet are going viral on the social media. Minister Kishan Reddy and MP K Laxman are also accompanied by Rajnath Singh.
Krishnam Raju breathed his last on Sunday 11th September in the early hours. He was suffering from health issues and died while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Hyderabad.
The death of Krishnam Raju came as a huge shock to his fans around the globe. His last rites were performed at his farmhouse and not at a cremation ground. Several Telugu celebrities, including Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu, JrNTR, Anushka Shetty, Sai Dharam Tej, Vijay Deverakonda, and Allu Arjun, paid their respects to Krishnam Raju.
