Maruthi Dasari is currently enjoying the success of his recent offering Prati Roju Pandage, which has turned out money-spinner at the box office. The movie starring Sai Dharam Tej and Raashi Khanna, which was released on 20th December 2019, is still running successfully at the box office. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, Maruthi Dasari has hiked his remuneration and rejected an offer from RRR producer- DVV Danayya.
We have already reported that DVV Danayya who has a bankrolled a number of top stars’ movies, is planning to launch his son as a hero in the Film Industry and he has been offering Rs 6 Cr to Maruthi Dasari. This is the highest paycheck for the successful director Maruthi who delivered good hits in his filmy career. But now it is being heard that Maruthi has rejected the offer. Finally, DVV Danayya is planning to bring Sriwass on the board to direct the movie for his son.
The sources say that things have changed after the director Maruthi Dasari’s latest film Prati Roju Pandage became a blockbuster. After the huge success of his recent film, Maruthi demanded a hike, which DVV Danayya declined to give. Maruthi has stepped out of this project as he doesn’t want to do a film with a debutant. Now Danayya roped in director Sriwass for his son’s launch film.
The sources added that remuneration was the reason for Maruthi’ stepping out of this project of DVV Danayya’s son.
DVV Danayya started his career with Jamba Lakidi Pamba, which was released in 1993 and now he is all set to launch his son.
On the other side, DVV Danayya is currently busy in his production venture RRR starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan, helmed by SS Rajamouli. RRR is being made on the lavish budget of Rs 400 Cr and will hit the theaters on 30th July 2020.
