Samantha Akkineni is currently working for her upcoming much hyped movie Shaakuntalam which is progressing at the brisk pace in the direction of Gunasekhar. It is known news that the makers of Shaakuntalam roped in Sufiyum Sujatayum fame Dev Mohan, who will be seen playing the role of Dushyant. In the month of March, Samantha welcomed Dev Mohan, “Here’s introducing our Prince Charming, Dushyant.” Rangasthalam star added she can’t wait to shoot for the project with Mohan.
Recently during the media interaction, Mohan Dev revealed, “The director Gunasekhar wanted him to sport a lean look like Prince Charming. So I have been on a diet for the last couple of months, and I continue to be throughout the movie. I am a fitness freak, and am already in shape and if the role demands that I shed a few more kilos.”
Dev Mohan also talked about Samantha and called her a cool co-star, and added, “Samantha has no airs of a superstar on the sets. Her humility is one of her strongest points. We talk about films and pets on the sets.”
In Shaakuntalam, Samantha is playing the titular role. It has the music by Mani Sharma. On the otherside, she will also be seen playing the lead role in Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Vadhal.
