Devadas Collections: Sriram Adittya’s directorial venture – the action comedy entertainer drama Devadas, was released in a large number of cinema halls on 27th September, amidst huge hype and expectations and on its opening day, the movie received mixed response. According to the traders report, Nani and Nagarjuna starrer Devadas has collected 16.77 Cr shares at Worldwide box office after the successful run of 4 days.

A strong word of mouth helped Nani and Nagarjuna starrer to maintain a rock steady at the ticket counters, but the collection rate of Devadas at the box office is not up to the mark. This is the first Nani and Nagarjuna teamed up for a movie. It is no secret that Nagarjuna is one of the most popular names in Tollywood today. He is fondly referred to as ‘King’.
Nani played the role of innocent doctor whereas Narajuna was seen playing a gangster. Chalo and Geetha Govindam fame Rashmika Mandanna and Aakanksha Singh played the female leads.
Meanwhile very soon Nani who is enjoying the success of Devadas, will join the sets of his next upcoming film Jersey very soon. According to the latest buzz in the film Industry, Nani has also given green signal for the Telugu remake of Tamil movie 96 and he will be seen sharing the screen space with Akkineni Nagarjuna’s daughter-in-law Samantha Akkineni.
