The title track ‘Dhadak Hai Na’ of Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar’s Bollywood debut film has been out! The song crooned by Shreya Ghoshal and Ajay Gogavale,  traces Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar’s love story. The lyrics are penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The  title track is sure to rock the musical charts and also raises the expectations on rest of the album quite high.

Karan Johar who is bankrolling Dhadak, released the title track of Dhadak on his Twitter today afternoon. Dhadak is directed by Shashank Khaitan and jointly produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Johar, Apoorva Mehta under the banner of  Dharma Productions, Zee Studios. Dhadak is the official remake of popular Marathi film Sairat, tarring Rinku Rajguru and Akash Thosar,  directed by Nagraj Manjule. Dhadak revolves around Madhur and  Parthavi, who explore their love story in a casteist society. Unlike the original Marathi film Sairat, Dhadak is set in Rajasthan.

Dhadak will hit the theaters on 20th July 2018.

Recently during the media interaction,  Janhvi said, “I saw Sairat with my mother at home and I remember telling her ‘I wish that this was my first film and I could do something like it’. Later Karan Johar called  me for Dhadak.”
