We have already reported that Kollywood star Dhanush and Sekhar Kammula have joined hands for their upcoming film, which will release in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. It will be produced by Narayan Das K Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao of the production house Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, which is a production unit of Asian Group of Cinemas.
According to the makers, the film is going to tick all the boxes of a universally appealing story and highly talented actor and director duo has set high expectations for the flick. The film is said to rope in top notch technicians, however, no names have been announced till date, as the production company is still in talks with them. The project of Dhanush and Sekhar Kammula are expected to go on the floor by the end of this year.
According to the latest buzz, the upcoming film is a period drama set in the early 1950s. Apparently, Sekhar Kammula has penned a script that dates back to the pre Andhra Pradesh formation era and in this film Dhanush will be seen playing the role of a Madrasi Telugu leader.
On the otherside, Dhanush was last seen in Jagame Thandhiram and the film also stars- Aishwarya Lekshmi, Joju George, Sanchana Natarajan, Deepak Paramesh and others.
