Kollywood star Dhanush and Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth had tied the knot in a traditional Tamil wedding on 18th November, 2004. The two had dated for six months before taking the plunge. On 10th October, 2006, they had welcomed their first son, Yatra Raja, and on 21st January, 2010, they had welcomed their second son, Linga Raja, and had completed their family. On 17th January, 2022, Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth and Dhanush had shared a long note announcing their divorce. Dhanush’ father and director Kasthuri Raja had said that it all happened due to a family quarrel and the split took place due to disagreement between the couple. Recently there was strong buzz in the film industry that Dhanush and Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth decided to call off their divorce.
One again, Dhanush’ father Kasthuri Raja, has reacted to the rumours. During an interview on YouTube channel Kasthuri Raja was asked about the speculations surrounding Dhanush and Aishwaryaa’ patch-up. He refused to directly address the question but said that he and his wife just wanted their children to “be happy”.
On the work front, Dhanush will be next seen playing the lead role in bilingual drama Sir and Captain Miller, which are progressing at the brisk pace.
