It has been officially confirmed that Tamil actor Dhanush has teamed up with director Sekhar Kammula for an upcoming untitled trilingual film that will be shot in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Like Dhanush, Sekhar Kammula is a National Award winner known for films such as Anand, Godavari, Dollar Dreams, Happy Days, Leader, Life Is Beautiful, and Fidaa.
As Dhanush film with Sekhar Kammula is a trilingual film, the actor is said to be taking hefty amount for this film. The reports are coming that Dhanush is getting remuneration of Rs 30 Cr for Sekhar Kammula’ directorial venture. This upcoming untitled project will also mark Dhanush’s Telugu debut as his films so far have only been dubbed into the language.
Maari actor and Fidaa helmer’ upcoming film will be backed by Narayan Das K Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under the banner of Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP as Production No 4.
Over the past decade, Dhanush has acted in the action comedy movie series Maari and Maari 2 and Velaiilla Pattadhari and Velaiilla Pattadhari 2. Dhanush made his Bollywood debut with Aanand L Rai’ Raanjhanaa. On the otherside, currently Sekhar Kammula awaits the release of his film, Love Story, starring Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and Premam girl Sai Pallavi.
