Dil Raju who has delivered several successful films such as Dil, Arya, Bhadra, Bommarillu, Parugu, Brindavanam, Mr. Perfect, Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, Yevadu, and Sathamanam Bhavati, is going to launch Ashok Galla– the son of TDP MP Jayadev Galla with a Turkish remake film.
Recently we have reported that another star from Superstar Mahesh Babu’s family is going to test his luck in Film Industry and he is none other than Ashok Galla, the nephew of Mahesh Babu. Noted producer Dil Raju has taken the responsibility to bankroll a movie for Ashok Galla, which will be helmed by Krishna Reddy G, a former associate of Baahubali film maker SS Rajamouli. The upcoming untitled drama will be Krishna Reddy’s second movie after Sudheer Babu’s Aadu Magadra Buji. The sources say that Dil Raju has bought the remake rights of Turkish film ‘Love Loves Coincidences’ starring Mehmet Günsür and Belçim Bilgin Erdoğan, directed by Ömer Faruk Sorak and produced by Oğuz Peri. The Love Likes Coincidences, was released in 2011 and turned out one of the highest grossing Turkish films of 2011. It was later remade in Bollywood as Sanam Re.
Turkish film- Love Loves Coincidences is all about the story of two lovers whose lives are intertwined by a series of coincidences. The makers are planning to make changes in the script according to the taste of Telugu audiences.
Recently the film unit conducted a location recce in Sri Lanka and also finalized few locations for the shoot. The pre production work of this upcoming Turkish remake is going on in full swing and the regular shoot of Ashok Galla and Dil Raju’s film is expected to commence from next month.
Ashok Galla had earlier acted as a child artiste in Mahesh Babu’s movie Naani, which was released in 2004. Currently Mahesh Babu is enjoying the success of his recent offering Bharat Ane Nenu, which has turned out money spinner at box office.
On the otherside, Dil Raju has bagged the theatrical rights of Puri Jagannadh’s Mehbooba starring Akash Puri and Neha Shetty, which is hitting the theaters today on 11th May 2018.
