Uppena is a romantic entertainer which has Vaishnav Tej, the younger brother of Sai Dharam Tej in the lead role. Uppena is one the most awaited movie of this year, which is slated to hit the theaters during summer. According to the latest update, the movie has started the pre release business and the noted producer and distributor Dil Raju has acquired the Nizam rights of Vaishnav Tej starrer Uppena.
Dil Raju acquired the distribution rights of the film Uppena by offering Rs 4 crores for the Nizam area. Considering the debut hero and director, this amount is a fancy price. Uppena is being helmed by Buchi Babu Sana, an erstwhile assistant of Sukumar and is being bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers. The makers have already released the first single recently which received decent response by the music lovers.
Young starlet Kriti Shetty is playing the female lead. Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi is also the part of Uppena and he is playing the main antagonist in this film Uppena, which has the music by Sensational music composer Devi Sri Prasad.
The young hero Vaishnav Tej and Kriti Shetty starrer Uppena is said to be a rustic love story and is made on a budget of Rs 20 crores. The film is slated to hit the theaters on 2nd April 2020.
