Thalapathy Vijay is going to work with director Vamsi Paidipally for his 66th film which will be produced by Dil Raju. Director Vamsi Paidipally of Thozha, Maharshi and Oopiri fame confirmed to Telugu media that he will be directing Thalapathy Vijay in a Tamil and Telugu bilingual. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, Dil Raju is paying Rs 100 Cr remuneration to Thalapathy Vijay to act in his directorial venture.
The sources say that Dil Raju has already paid Thalapathy Vijay a token advance of Rs 10 Cr. The remaining amount will be paid in regular installments once Dil Raju and Vamsi Padipally’ film hits the floors. It is known news that Vijay is one of the highest paid actors in South Indian cinema presently.
Thalapathy Vijay had been shooting for his upcoming drama Thalapathy 65 with director Nelson Dilipkumar before India went into lockdown recently. Vijay has already completed a schedule of Thalapathy 65 co starring Yogi Babu, Shine Tom Chacko and Aparna Das, in Georgia in the month of April.
The commercial film will hit the theatres later this or early next year. Bankrolled by Sun Pictures, Thalapathy 65 marks the Tamil debut of dusky beauty Pooja Hegde.
