Aslam Khan, the  younger brother of veteran Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar, passed away early morning on Friday. He had diabetes, hypertension and ischaemic heart disease and had tested positive for  Coronavirus. Aslam Khan was 88. Aslam breathed his last at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. He along with his other brother Ehsaan (90), was admitted to the hospital on 16th August after they tested positive for Coronavirus.

According to the hospital authorities, Aslam  Khan had diabetes, hypertension and ischaemic heart disease apart from Coronavirus.  On the otherside, according to the doctor’ report,  Ehsaan Khan condition is said to be critical and his vital organs’ health is causing a concern. Both brothers were kept under artificial breathing support and now Aslam Khan has passed away.

Recently 97 years old actor Dilip Kumar had penned a beautiful poem requesting his fans to stay indoors and save lives amid the coronavirus crisis. He shared a four-line poem on Twitter urging everyone to follow the lockdown, “Dawa bhi, dua bhi auron se faslaa bhi/ Ghareeb ki khidmat kamzor ki seva bhi”.

The real name of  Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar is Muhammad Yusuf Khan. He is popularly known as The Tragedy King and The First Khan. Dilip Kumar has been credited with bringing realism to film acting since his first movie.
