Bollywood director Krish Kapur, known for his work in Jalebi and Veerey Ki Wedding, passed away on 31st May. Krish was 28.
Krish Kapur’s maternal uncle Sunil Bhalla has confirmed this news by sharing that the casting director passed away on 31st May. Mr. Bhalla also said, “The casting director died at 2.30 in the afternoon, which gave a huge shock to us. He was so young and had no medical history.”
Krish Kapur passed away due to brain hemorrhage at Mumbai’s Mira Road. Krish had done casting for Pulkrit Samrat and Kriti Kharbanda starrer ‘Veere Ki Wedding’ and Rhea Chakraborty, Varun Mitra, and Digangana Suryavanshi starrer ‘Jalebi’. Krish Kapur was also the casting director for the short film ‘Shubhratri’.
Speculations were rife that the casting director Krish died in a road accident in his hometown. However, his uncle Sunil Bhalla refuted the rumors of him passing away due to a road accident. Mr. Sunil Bhalla said, “ The director Krish Kapur fell unconscious on the stairs when he reached our house. Later he started bleeding from his nose after he fell on the stairs. He passed away on 31st May due to brain injury.”
