Veteran director Pandillpalli Chandrasekhar Reddy took his last breath  on 3rd January.  PC Reddy had been battling with health issues for a long time and he  died today morning at his residence in Chennai. He  was 86. He breathed his last in Chennai at 8.30 AM.

P Chandrasekhar Reddy has directed about 80 movies and worked with  the top stars of South Indian film Industry such as  Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Krishna and Shobhan Babu.  He  has mostly directed superstar Krishna’s films.

P Chandrasekhar Reddy was born in Anumasamudram village in Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore District on 15th October, 1933. He made his entry  in the film industry as  an assistant director in 1959.

He worked as an associate director for the directors Adurthi Subba Rao and Madhusudana Rao. Later he made his directorial debut with a film Anuradha.  His popular directorial ventures are  Bhale Alludu, Jagannayakudu, Badipantulu, Vichitra Dampathyam, Manavudu Danavudu, Kodukulu, Ragile Gundelu, Navodayam, Padipantalu, Bangaru Kapuram, Rajakeeya Chadarangam, Anna Vadina, Peddalu Marali, Patnavasam, Anna Chellu.

The director Pandillpalli Chandrasekhar Reddy’ sudden demise has shocked the film industry.
