Surveen Chawla recently attended an interview and made some shocking revelations regarding the “casting couch” in the South Indian Film Industry. Currently, the actress is active in Hindi and Punjabi film Industry. Best known for her role in Hate Story 2, the actress journey to the entertainment industry was not an easy one.
Surveen Chawla started her acting career with daily soaps, it was kind of a cakewalk for her. But her real struggle started when she decided to make a transition into South films around 2010.
Surveen Chawla talked about casting couch and said, “I had faced not just once or twice but five times in my career till date. This was just around the time I was transitioning into movies from TV. So this director told me, “We have a language problem. I want to know every inch of your body. I was shocked after hearing this.”
Surveen Chawla also revealed that she had also faced the casting couch with two big Bollywood filmmakers, who were also named in the MeToo wave.
Surveen Chawla concluded it by saying that a Bollywood director wanted to see her cleavage and another director wanted to see how her thighs looked.
The actress is known for her roles in movies and serials like Hate Story 2, Ugly, Parched and 24, etc.
