Pan India star Prabhas has a very huge line-up among the Tollywood stars currently. He has big budget drama Adipurush, helmed by Om Raut of Tanhaji fame, which is getting ready to be released in January 2023. Prabhas will also be seen in action drama Salaar, Project K, and one more film with Maruthi are currently in production. Well, among all these films, Salaar is the most awaited one which has Shruti Haasan as the leading lady and Privthviraj Sukumaran in the role of villain. The action drama Salaar is written and directed by Prashanth Neel, Kannada’s most successful director, who is best known for helming KGF series. So, both the Telugu and Kannada audiences are eagerly waiting to see what the magical duo of Prabhas and Prashanth Neel are going to create.
Few days ago, the makers of Salaar released the first look of Prithviraj Sukumaran from Salaar, which received a good response. Prithviraj Sukumaran also interacted with the media and spoke about this film and gave an update to the fans.
Prithviraj Sukumaran opined that after ‘Baahubali’ movies, Prabhas moved away from mass, action and commercial aspects. But Salaar coming in their combination is a full scale action and mass entertainer. He said that Prabhas will be seen in this upcoming drama as Darling fans want to see him. He said that since Prashanth Neel is making Salaar, there will be no elevations and mass elements.
Prabhas’ fans who are worried about Adipurush, Prithviraj Sukumaran’ sensational words will definitely give a kick. As for this movie, it will be released on 28th September next year. There are reports that Salaar will come in two parts, but there is no official confirmation regarding this. It also remains to be seen whether it will fall under Prashant Neel’s cinematic universe or not.
