We have already reported that Nithiin has brought the Telugu remake rights of recently released Bollywood movie Andhadhun for a hefty price of Rs 3.9 Cr. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, DJ fame director Harish Shankar is on the board to helm the remake of Andhadhun in which Nithiin will play the lead role.
Harish Shankar was left untraced after the release of Stylish Star Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde starrer DJ. Now after a long break he is making his comeback in Telugu Film Industry with upcoming movie Valmiki in which Varun Tej, Pooja Hegde and Atharvaa Murli are playing the lead roles.
Valmiki is remake of Tamil blockbuster Jigarthanda, which is gearing up for grand release on 20th September. Now it is being heard that Harish Shankar is in talks to direct the remake of Bollywood blockbuster Andhadhun starring Nithiin, which will be bankrolled under the banner of Sreshth Movies along with Viacom 18 Motion Pictures will produce this remake. The movie will go on the floor next year. Very soon the official announcement will be made regarding this project.
On the other-side, Varun Tej is currently busy in his upcoming movie Bheeshma which will hit the theaters in the month of December. After this he will start the shoot of Rang De.
