Allu Aravind is one of the popular producers and the distributor of Telugu film Industry. Currently he is also producing a few Hindi movies. The production house Geetha Arts was established in 1972 by Allu Aravind and it has produced around 60 films, majority of them in Telugu in addition to a few films in Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada languages. Allu Aravind has earned a special recognition as one of the successful producers in Tollywood. He is continuing his career as a producer, head of studio, distributor and head of Aha OTT. He has produced many super hit films under the Geetha Arts banner.
Geetha Arts is one of the leading banners in the Tollywood industry. Majority of the films released under this banner have achieved success. Allu Aravind said that his father named Allu Ramalingaiah Geetha Arts. Allu Aravind commented that his father gave that name because he liked the essence of Bhagavad Gita. He added, “ The effort is ours and the result is not in our hands. As a producer, we have to do our best.. the result is in the hands of the Gods and the audience. That’s why they named their banner Geetha Arts.”
According to Allu Aravind, the name of this banner – Geetha Arts is taken from Bhagavad Gita.
Allu Aravind also commented that he had a girlfriend named Geetha during his college days.
