US President Donald Trump is praising India’ Prime Minister Narendra Modi. After coming to know that Narendra Modi has lifted the ban on Hydroxychloroquine- HCQ exports, and the USA will be soon going to get the first batch of the medicine along with Paracetamol.
During an interview, President Donald Trump said that more than 29 million doses of hydroxychloroquine bought by US to combat the coronavirus pandemic is from India.
Donald Trump also said Prime Minister Narendra Modi was great when he sought his help to allow exports of the anti-malarial drug Hydroxychloroquine to treat Coronavirus patients in the US On Tuesday.
Donald Trump and Narendra Modi spoke over the issue last week. During their telephonic conversation. US President Trump requested PM Modi to lift the hold on his order of HCQ.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump clarified that India is banning the export of Hydroxychloroquine to some other countries but not America, whereas the Indian officials clarified that they are exporting the drug to other countries that are in need.
HCQ has been identified by the United State Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of Coronavirus. HCQ is being tested on more than 1,500 covid-19 patients in New York. Donald Trump has bought more than 29 million doses of the medication.
