The Central Crime Bureau – CCB of the Bengaluru City Police conducted raids Aditya Alva’ properties, who is the brother-in-law of Bollywood actor, Vivek Oberoi, and son of the late former minister, Jeevaraj Alva.
The raid was conducted on Tuesday. He has been absconding ever since the Bengaluru police carried out raids on actress Ragini Dwivedi’s residence. Ragini was remanded to judicial custody for fourteen days. Currently she is in the Parappana Agrahara prisons on the outskirts of the city.
According to the latest report, the police has carried searched at Aditya Alva’ resort, where he used to host weekend parties attended by many celebrities from the Kannada film industry. According to the Central Crime Bureau, Aditya Alva is the fifth accused in this Sandalwood drug case. Aditya Alva comes from very high profile family background. His late dad was considered as one of the most powerful ministers of his times and he was regarded as the right-hand man of the late CM, Ramakrishna Hegde. Her mom too is a noted figure in the Karnataka state.
CCB is probing the drug menace in Sandalwood. Recently filmmaker, producer, and director Inderjit Lankesh had appeared before the crime branch and he revealed the information about the use of drugs in the Sandalwood, he also revealed the names of 15 people.
