Venkatesh Daggubati is currently working for two movies Drushyam 2 and Narappa. He has already wrapped up the shoot of these movies and his fans are eagerly waiting for the release of the film. Both the films Drushyam 2 and Narappa are sold out to OTT platforms at whooping prices. Official announcements regarding the same are awaited. Both are remakes from Tamil and Malayalam respectively.
The sources say that, both the films together fetched Rs 70 Cr to the producer Suresh Babu. It is yet to be known if both the Telugu projects were sold out to Hotstar or one went to Amazon Prime.
It is also being heard that Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi starrer action thriller drama is also going to be sold to an OTT. All these three movies are being bankrolled by Suresh Babu.
Venkatesh starrer Narappa is a revenge and action drama in which National award winning actress Priyamani is playing his wife. Narappa which is helmed by Srikanth Addala, is the remake of Dhanush starrer Asuran, which was a blockbuster at the box office.
Drushyam 2 directed by Jeethu Joseph, has Venkatesh, Meena, Kruthika, Esther Anil, Sampath Raj, Nadhiya, Naresh and Poorna. The thriller drama has the music by Anup Rubens for music, and cinematography by Satheesh Kurup.
