Venkatesh Daggubati and Meena are working together for an upcoming film, Drushyam 2. The makers have already wrapped up the entire shoot of the film and now they have decided to start the promotional activities. Today morning, the makers of Drushyam 2 confirmed that the first look and motion poster of Venkaetsh Daggubati and Meena’ film will be out on 20th September at 10:08 am.
Earlier there was a strong buzz in the film industry that the makers of the thriller have opted for a direct-to-digital premiere on Disney Hotstar. But there is no any official update regarding the release of the film.
Venkatesh starrer Drushyam 2 is a remake of the Malayalam thriller drama Drishyam 2, which was a direct to OTT release on the Amazon Prime Video. It is a direct sequel to the 2014 remake, which starred Venkatesh in the role of Ram Babu, a cable tv operator. In the sequel, Ram Babu, who is now a theatre owner, once again aims to outwit the cop investigating the murder from the first movie.
Drushyam 2 is helmed by Jeethu Joseph, who helmed both the parts of the Malayalam original and it also has Naresh VK, Nadhiya, Sampath Raj, Kruthika, and Esther Anil in the supporting roles.
