Mollywood star Dulquer Salmaan’ latest Malayalam movie Varane Avashyamund recently got its digital release and unfortunately, it landed into a controversy. The family entertainer Varane Avashyamund marks the production debut of Dulquer Salmaan and is helmed by Anoop Sathyan. The film has Kalyani Priyadarshan as the main actress and Sobhana in a key role.  Finally Varane Avashyamund landed into trouble over dialogue in the film. A scene from the film has upset a section of Tamil viewers and they are trolling Dulquer Salmaan. A section of Tamil movie lovers felt that Dulquer Salmaan insulted Tamil people.

The Trolls alleged that the scene in Varane Avashyamund is an attack on LTTE leader Velupillai Prabhakaran. Responding to this allegation, Dulquer Salmaan wrote that it was ‘not intentional’ and requested the users to not ‘drag our fathers and senior actors’ in the abusive tweets.

Finally Dulquer Salmaan issued an apology on Twitter and wrote, “I apologise to all of the good and kind Tamil people who felt offended. I have never intended to offend anyone through my movies or my words. It’s genuinely a misunderstanding.”

 Dulquer Salmaan is a well known face for the Telugu and  Tamil people as  he has acted in Mani Ratnam’ ‘OK Kanmani’ and  Nag Ashwin’ ‘Mahanati’.
