Dulquer Salmaan is a well known face for the Telugu people as he essayed the role of Gemini Ganesan in Nag Ashwin’ directorial venture Mahanati. Now Sulquer Salmaan is playing the role of Lieutenant Ram in Sensible director Hanu Raghavapudi’s period drama. Today on the occasion of Ram Navami, the makers unveiled a new video introducing Dulquer Salmaan’ character in the film. Dulquer is playing the role of an army man who fights at the border and is waiting to meet his love as soon as the war ends.
Touted to be a period love story set in 1964, this untitled multilingual movie is bankrolled by Priyanka Dutt under the banner of noted production house Swapna Cinema whereas it has the music by Vishal Chandrashekar . The makers of the film launched the concept poster on the occasion of Dulquer Salmaan’ birthday last year that featured a silhouette image of Dulquer Salmaan in an Army officer’s avatar.
On the otherside, Dulquer Salmaan is currently busy with the shooting of his upcoming film with Rosshan Andrrews, which is tentatively titled Production No 6. In this film, he is sharing the screen space with Diana Penty as the leading lady.
Dulquer Salmaan is also playing the lead role in Tamil film Hey Sinamika which has Kajal Aggarwal and Aditi Rao Hydari as the leading ladies.
