The young Rebel star Prabhas is getting ready to join the sets of his next upcoming film Jaan, which has Pooja Hegde in the female lead role. The shooting of this film started last year. After the release of Saaho, Prabhas is currently on a short break.
Meanwhile, Radha Krishna Kumar, who is the helmer of Jaan, is working on the script and is making some crucial changes to make the story appeal to a pan-India audience. Now it is being heard that the shoot of Jaan will be earlier than expected.
The next schedule of Prabhas and Pooja Hegde starrer Jaan will take place from the month of October in Hyderabad. The shoot was earlier planned to be resumed from November.
Jaan is being produced under Gopikrishna Movies and UV Creations banners whereas the film has the music by Amit Trivedi. If the industry grapevine is anything to go by, the story of Prabhas starrer Jaan is set in a foreign country.
Prabhas was last seen in Saaho, directed by Sujeeth, and is bankrolled by V Vamshi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati under the banner of UV Creations on a budget of Rs 300 cr. Though it’s Hindi version was hit but Telugu version was turned out commercially flop at the box office.
