The makers of the Jayalalithaa biopic believe that Young Tiger Jr NTR is perfect to essay the role of his grandfather and late Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh – Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. It is known the news that the shooting of upcoming flick Thalaivi, the biopic of J Jayalalithaa has been already started and currently the shoot is going on at the brisk pace in Chennai. Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut who has won millions of hearts with her wonderful performances in historic and war drama Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, is essaying the role of Jayalalithaa. Now the makers are planning to bring Jr NTR in Thalaivi to play his grandfather role.

The sources close to the film unit revealed that the makers are now planning to rope in Jr NTR for an extended cameo in Thalaivi. Interestingly, Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rai played a significant part in J Jayalalithaa’s cinematic career as both acted together in several yesteryear films. According to the makers, Jr NTR bearing a strong resemblance to his grandfather Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao in terms of looks, they are trying to convince Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava actor that he will be a perfect fit for the role. Now we have to wait and see whether Jr NTR will accept the offer to play the role of his grandfather in Thalivi, who was also the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

It is being heard that the efforts to rope in Jr NTR have already been initiated by director ALVijay and producer Vishnu Induri. The Producers Vishnu Induri and Brinda Prasad revealed that they have roped in renowned makeup artist Jason Collins, who had worked in Hollywood films namely, Blade Runner and Captain Marvel, to help them out.

On the other side, currently, Jr NTR is working with SS Rajamouli for an upcoming project RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli.
