It is known that Varasudu starring Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna will be released in Telugu and Tamil. It is being released as Varasudu in Telugu and Varisu in Tamil. The makers have already announced that this movie will be released next Sankranti.This is Vijay’s first film with Vamsi Paidipally. Recently during the media interaction, Dil Raju said “Mahesh Babu was first choice for Varasudu when Vamshi Paidipally first narrated the script. But Bharat Ane Nenu fame star was committed to do another project so the things did not materialize.” Dil Raju added, “Then we thought Mega Power star Ram Charan would be the right fit. But again, they were collaborating for RC15 which is being helmed by Shankar of 2.0 fame. So I dropped the idea and later I went to Vijay and that’s how this project happened.”
Varasudu will lock horns with two big-budget films, megastar Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya and Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy, in the Telugu-speaking states. Ahead of the film’s release, the makers are leaving no stone unturned to promote both Tamil and Telugu versions of this upcoming most awaited movie.
The reports are coming that a pre-release event for Varisu and Varasudu has been organized on December 24 and December 27, respectively. And, the chief guest of the Varasudu pre-release event will be none other than Pawan Kalyan.
