There have been a lot of speculations around who the Dev of Ayan Mukerji’s upcoming magnum opus Brahmastra 2 is. The makers teased us with his chiseled figure and fierce attitude but it is only the second part of Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt starrer that will unveil his face. Previously names like Hrithik Roshan, Ranveer Singh and Shah Rukh Khan have surfaced online. Everyone is eager to know that who will play the role of a villain.
As most know, Dev is a villain in Ayan Mukerji’ directorial venture astraverse. While Ranbir Kapoor aka Shiva is his son, strong reports suggest Padmavaat fame Deepika Padukone will be playing the role of his wife aka Amrita who holds the power to control water.
Now the reports are also coming that Karan Johar’ favorite hero- Liger star Vijay Devarakonda is most likely to play the role. Director Ayaan Mukherjee has a different take on these rumors and said, “They said Hrithik Roshan, then Ranveer Singh and now Yash. Tomorrow they will say that even Rebel star Prabhas is also roped in to play this role. But I am happy as they liked Dev’s role and are owning it almost. Soon we will finalize an actor for that role.
